What’s the filing fee for my immigration application?

Filing fees and fee waiver eligibility for immigration applications will vary depending on the application form you are filing. You can use the USCIS Fee Calculator to determine your total application fee. You may also wish to consult a nonprofit legal service provider

In August 2020, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a final rule that would drastically increase filing fees on many immigration applications, limit fee waivers, and add a new $50 fee for asylum applications. However, the fee rule was blocked by a federal court before it was supposed to go into effect. This means that you can submit your immigration application with the current fee(s) for now.

Since fees may still go up in the future, we encourage you to submit your immigration application as soon as you can. MAF’s zero-interest immigration loans can help you cover the current fee – learn more and apply by visiting our website.
