After you create your account, you’ll be taken to the Experian Boost homepage where you’ll be given the option to click ‘Start my FREE boost.’
- Experian will request access to your bank account. After you enter your bank account login information and select the appropriate account, you will consent to Experian accessing your bank transactions. Please note that the bank account information you input into Experian Boost must be associated with your name.
- Experian will then scan your bank account for relevant utilities and telecommunications transactions and show you a list of companies for you to review.
- After you’ve reviewed and approved your accounts, Experian will instantly add this data to your credit report and show you your boosted FICO 8 credit score. You’ll get to decide whether to keep the data (if you like what you see) or remove it.
